The One Plus 6T which was released on November 6 2018 is an upgrade to previous One Plus 6 but with bigger screen and smaller notch.
Design and display
The One Plus 6T has a glass design both at the front and back sides. Available in midnight black and mirror black colours. Having dimensions of 157.5 × 74.8 × 8.2mm, and weighs 185 grams, it’s a slim phone if am to say and has a good grip.
On the device right side is a signature OnePlus slider, directly above the power button, which allows you to mute your phone with one flick.
There’s no longer the normal 3.5mm headphone jack, but in place of it is a USB-C adapter for your convenience.
While the One Plus 6T sports a big 6.4″ HD AMOLED display, with 2340 × 1080 pixels of screen resolution and 402 ppi, with 19.5:9 screen ratio and features the amazing in-display fingerprint scanner.
OS and Performance
Starting off with Android 9 pie. A 4 × 2.8GHz Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. An 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, saddly there’s no room for memory card to expand the storage.
A 16mp f/2.0 aperture + selfie camera to make up for your snapshots. And a dual 16mp f/1.7 aperture + 20mp f/1.7 with dual LED flashrear cameras to serve your photography needs and save those precious moments. There’s no front flash for the selfie shooter. This is quite disheartening.
A 3700 mAh battery to play with and no wireless charging to accompany it.
In general, I must confess the One Plus 6T lacks in some funside features which OnePlus really needs to step up on. But it is still a great smartphone to keep company with.
