iPhone 11 review

Released just yesterday, the iPhone 11 is Apple’s latest device and it doesn’t come alone. There’s the 11 Pro and Pro Max versions which we will review later.

Design and display

The newly arrived iPhone 11 sports a 6.1″ IPS notch display with 828 × 1792 pixels at 324 ppi (127 ppcm). It’s fitted with a full screen display with 80.28% screen to body ratio, 16.7m colours. The display packs features such as scratch resistance, oleophobic coating, HDR10, True tone display, Liquid retina display, wide colour display(P3)

Having dimensions of 150.9 × 75.7 × 8.3 mm and weighs 194g. It’s quite small and fits into your pocket. The iPhone 11 is built on front and back glass with aluminum alloy frame and comes in an array of colours; Yellow, Purple, White, Green, Red. It’s also IP68 certified waterproof.

Os and Performance

The iPhone 11 runs on Apple iOS 13, powered by Apple’s latest A13 Bionic chipset processor built on a 7nm process technology at 64bits Hexa-core ARMv8-A CPU.

For RAM we have a 4 GB LPDDR4X double channel RAM 8-core neural engine (NPU). We have a 64/128/256 GB ROM versions.


The iPhone 11 has a dual rear camera set up. We have a 12mp Sony Exmor RS main camera with f/1.8 aperture that shoots at 4032 x 3024p and 4k video recording, plus 12mp ultra wide(190°), 5x digital zoom, Cinematic video stabilization with f/2.4 aperture.

At the U-notch we have a 12mp CMOS (backside illumination) selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, with face unlock.


iPhone 11 packs a 3110mAh Li-ion battery with Qi wireless charging, wireless reverse charging and fast charging, with a 9V/2A charger.
