Huawei has just confirmed it’s latest chipset Kirin 990 coming 6th September, just some weeks away.
The Kirin 990 will be built on TSMC’s 7nm EUV process technology which will provide a 20% greater transistor density and increased power efficiency.
The new SoC will allow for a good 4k video recording at 60 fps(frame per second), as this is first ever in the Kirin family.
We also expect enhanced NPU based on Huawei da Vinci architecture latest CPU and GPU components.
Huawei released a video showing details that the SoC will have 5H capabilities as rumour has it that the chipset will have a modem built in it.
Even though Huawei Mate series smartphones have debuted Kirin SoC chipsets, it is believed that the coming Mate 30 will feature the chipset.
